UCLA opens History Writing Center in Bunche Hall

The new History Writing Center opened its doors on Monday to give some history students specialized help on research papers and developing their writing skills. Currently, the center is only available to undergraduate students enrolled in History 96W, 97, 98T, 191 and 198C, which are the most writing intensive courses the History department offers, said Devon Van Dyne, one of three advanced doctoral students who tutor at the center. Sexual assault auditor to meet with UCLA student leaders

Leaders of a student campaign against sexual assault will meet with a California state auditor today to review UCLA’s sexual assault policies and procedures. The audit will provide a third-party evaluation of UCLA’s compliance with major federal laws, such as Title IX regulations and the Clery Act, on the treatment of sexual assault cases. Read more...
