UCLA sees decrease in fall 2019 freshman applications by about 2 percent
UCLA received fewer freshman applications than last year for admission in fall 2019, according to data released Tuesday. The number of applicants decreased by about 2 percent, from 113,695 in 2018 to 111,266 in 2019, according to preliminary data released by the University of California Office of the President. Proposed state budget would increase funding for UC, aims to support students
Gov. Gavin Newsom’s proposed budget for next year would increase funding for the University of California. The proposed budget would allocate $36.4 billion for higher education, an increase of $1.4 billion from this year’s budget. Read more...
