UC Title IX coordinator disputes new federal stance on sexual violence policies
The University of California Title IX coordinator said she opposes the federal government’s decision to change sexual violence and harassment policies. UCLA professor files lawsuit against UC for withholding admissions information
A UCLA law professor filed a lawsuit against the University of California for failing to disclose admissions data beginning in 2007. California Proposition 5 could reduce property taxes, state funding
Schools and local governments could eventually lose up to $1 billion annually if a proposition to provide qualified homeowners a major tax break is approved. Proposition 5, which will be on the November 2018 statewide ballot, would allow property tax savings for homeowners over 55 years old, homeowners with disabilities and homeowners affected by natural disasters across California.
