A local business district committee is looking to amend a costly and slow storefront signage process. NWWNC approves grants to provide library aide, compost program, Access Day

The local neighborhood council approved three grants for neighborhood projects during a board meeting Wednesday. NWWNC advocates for changes to Westwood specific plan to stimulate business

Some Westwood Village zoning regulations may be reduced or eliminated if the city follows recommendations from a local neighborhood council. The North Westwood Neighborhood Council, a body representing UCLA and the Village to the Los Angeles City Council, recommended changes to food and parking regulations in the Village’s 1989 zoning and regulatory framework known as the Westwood Village Specific Plan. Westwood’s Qwench Juice Bar remains closed for unknown reasons

A Westwood juice bar remains closed after locking its doors at least two months ago. Qwench Juice Bar, located at the intersection of Gayley Avenue and Weyburn Avenue, opened its doors in June but quietly went dark by the new year. Read more...
