UCLA baseball squeezes win over USC out of rocky weekend

For the first time since opening weekend against Portland, UCLA baseball’s offense came alive, posting double-digit hits in all three games. Ironically, UCLA’s mainstay, its pitching and defense, was on shaky ground all weekend, resulting in the Bruins playing three one-run games. Read more...

UCLA women’s tennis defeats USC in Marks Stadium

In Marks Stadium at USC, the stands were bathed with red and gold. The only blue came from the Bruins on the courts, who listened to the eerie silence after every point they earned, and tried to drown out the eruption of cheers in the stands after every shot they missed. Read more...

Bruins dominate UCLA/CSUN Invitational with strong pitching

After a humbling loss against Michigan last Wednesday, No. 3 UCLA went undefeated in the UCLA/CSUN Invitational this past weekend, securing a 23-1 season record. UCLA played three sets of back-to-back games against UNLV, Loyola Chicago, Charleston Southern, CSU Bakersfield and Georgetown on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Read more...
