UCLA sand volleyball wins competition despite elements

The conditions for UCLA sand volleyball were less than ideal, but the same could not be said of the results. There was the hard-packed sand to contend with, an element that played to the advantages of jump-lenient players, while serving as a disadvantage to a “ball-control team,” which is how coach Stein Metzger described his team. UCLA disappoints on the road again in 73-55 loss to WSU
