UCLA men’s water polo ends NCAA tournament run with overtime loss to California

Down one goal with three seconds remaining, graduate student attacker Nicolas Saveljic lobbed the ball toward center pool with sophomore attacker Makoto Kenney lurking. Kenney drilled a line drive into the right side of the goal to knot the contest at 12 and force overtime.  Scoreless until that point, two-time MPSF Player of the Year and Golden Bear center Nikolaos Papanikolaou shoveled a shot in the first overtime period and tipped in another in the subsequent period to give California a multi-goal advantage.  Senior attacker/utility Jake Cavano responded with a goal of his own, but the Golden Bears’ goal with 13 seconds to play all but ended the contest.  No. Read more...

Men’s basketball’s game canceled against Washington because of COVID-19 protocol

UCLA women’s basketball to face San Jose State at home after road losses
