NCAA expresses support for student-athlete name, image and likeness compensation
The movement started in California early last year is nearing a resolution – collegiate athletes will soon get paid. The NCAA Board of Governors said Wednesday that it is moving forward with allowing student-athletes to profit off of their name, image and likeness from advertisers and other forms of work. Daishen Nix decommits from UCLA men’s basketball to play in NBA G League
Daishen Nix is no longer a Bruin. The five-star recruit out of Las Vegas has broken his commitment to UCLA men’s basketball and will instead sign with the NBA G League to pursue a professional career, The Athletic reported Tuesday. Read more...
