Women’s basketball looks to snap losing streak with Colorado win

The UCLA women’s basketball team is on the verge of eclipsing a season high Friday night – and that’s not a good thing. UCLA (8-13, 4-6 Pac-12) has lost four games in a row and a loss Friday in Pauley Pavilion against Colorado (10-11, 3-7) would mean a new season-high losing streak. Read more...

Bruins chewed up by Beavers to end road trip

The troops from the North proved too much for UCLA’s arsenal this weekend. After dropping a game against Oregon two days prior, the players in blue found themselves outgunned yet again, surrounded by the overpowering orange and black crowd of Oregon State’s Gill Coliseum on Monday. Read more...

UCLA women’s basketball hopes to improve second-half play against Oregon

Matthew Knight Arena in Eugene, Ore. isn’t your ordinary basketball court. A forest of fir trees incorporated into the court’s outer design frames the famous University of Oregon logo and the words “Deep in the Woods.” UCLA women’s basketball will have a chance at redemption when it leaves the comfort of Pauley Pavilion for the first time in three games, and travels deep into the woods this Saturday. Women’s basketball to play bigger after guard injury

The women’s basketball team lost a key player over the weekend to a leg injury. Freshman guard Recee’ Caldwell landed awkwardly in practice Friday and heard three pops in her right knee. Read more...
