Women’s volleyball begins season with back-to-back wins against California

Women’s volleyball begins 2021 season with 8 new players

After a unique offseason, the Bruins are ready to tackle the upcoming season with a new appreciation for the sport and a new team. No. 22 UCLA women’s volleyball ended last season with a loss to Wisconsin in the second round of the NCAA tournament and finished with an overall record of 19-12. Read more...

Fall athletes to receive an extra year of NCAA eligibility after seasons postponed

The NCAA announced Friday that another year of athletic eligibility will be given to fall sport student-athletes. After the cancellation of the Pac-12 and Big Ten fall sports seasons earlier this month, the Division 1 Board of Directors implemented a blanket COVID-19 waiver, which not only gave fall athletes another year of eligibility but protected all players from losing scholarships should they opt out of the season.
