Despite the game's location at the Coliseum, UCLA fans arrived early to Saturday's evening game against rivals USC to tailgate with friends and family. One fan in particular took tailgating to another level. Every year, the Bruin statue in Bruin Plaza goes into hibernation during the week leading up to the big football game against cross-town rivals USC. The UCLA Rally Committee sends volunteers to camp out in front of its cage throughout the night and to watch out for possible attempts from the Trojans of vandalizing the statue. More »
