UCLA Dining off-campus meal plan pilot blooms into spring quarter

This post was updated March 15 at 7:31 p.m. UCLA’s off-campus meal plan pilot scheme will continue into the spring quarter.  In a Thursday email to residents living in UCLA’s off-campus apartments, UCLA Dining said it would again offer the opportunity to residents to purchase 77 swipes at the cost of a $1,155 up-front payment. Michael Grunstein, pioneering researcher in epigenetics, dies at 77

Michael Grunstein, a distinguished professor emeritus of biological chemistry, died Feb. 18. He was 77 years old. Grunstein – best known for his study of histones, the proteins that DNA is coiled around – first became a faculty member at UCLA in 1975. Read more...
