Al-Jazeera buys Current TV to establish new channel
Current TV, a progressive media outlet that has employed numerous UCLA alumni since its founding in 2005, was recently bought by Al-Jazeera, an award-winning news organization in the Middle East that is owned by the government of Qatar. Read more...

Former Bruin releases innovative wheel
To pursue his dream of playing professional tennis, Zack Fleishman dropped out of UCLA nearly 14 years ago. His career as a professional tennis player ended in 2008, after he flew over the handlebars of his mountain bike and dislocated his shoulder, damage that required two major surgeries and six screws to fix. USAC hopes to secure funding for community service scholarship
