UC system experiences nearly $2B loss as a result of pandemic, seeks federal aid

The University of California is pursuing federal funding to alleviate its nearly $2 billion revenue loss caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Air quality remains unhealthy in Los Angeles because of nearby fires

Air quality in Los Angeles is projected to remain unhealthy throughout the week because of several nearby wildfires, including the Bobcat fire. Los Angeles has an Air Quality Index rating of 130 as of Thursday, which is considered “unhealthy for sensitive groups,” according to IQAir. Read more...

33-year-old man arrested after he allegedly peered into Hill resident’s window

University police arrested a man Friday evening after he allegedly looked through a female student’s Courtside residence window, according to a UCPD press release Tuesday. Ivan Andrew Diamond, a 33-year-old Los Angeles resident, was charged with Peeking Into an Inhabited Dwelling and Providing False Identification after being arrested Friday evening, according to the press release.
