On Saturday, UCLA awarded honorary degrees to former Japanese American students interned during World War II. Nearly seven decades after they were students at UCLA, degree recipients remember the war and internment camp, and they describe what the honorary degrees mean to them. [4:58]

He studied ceramics at Chouinard Art Institute (today known as California Institute of Arts), and then mixed East L.A. Mexican American graffiti fashion with Asian calligraphy to form his unique style. Daily Bruin Radio met Bojorquez at his home, where he described how graffiti is a way to make your culture and community be seen, understood and remembered. [5:12]
