All fall Pac-12 sports seasons postponed, potentially until spring

All fall Pac-12 sports have been postponed for the rest of the calendar year because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the conference announced Tuesday. “The health, safety and well-being of our student-athletes and all those connected to Pac-12 sports has been our number one priority since the start of this current crisis,” said Pac-12 Commissioner Larry Scott.  “Our student-athletes, fans, staff and all those who love college sports would like to have seen the season played this calendar year as originally planned, and we know how disappointing this is.” In the official announcement, the conference also released the medical recommendations that went into its decision. Open golf courses drive away lack of summer activities during pandemic

With limited sports to watch, remote summer sessions and endless canceled internships, a lot of Bruins are looking for hobbies to fill their time. Strong freshmen performances guide women’s golf to 4th place in South Carolina

The Bruins finished near the top of the leaderboard despite dropping two spots in the third round. No. 12 UCLA women’s golf finished fourth in the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate on Sunday at the Long Cove Club in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. Read more...
